    Welcome CHARACTER COUNTS! in Jacksonville

    AIGA Jacksonville is pleased to welcome CHARACTER COUNTS! In Jacksonville as a Bronze level sponsor for 2012. Members will be seeing representatives from the organization at many of our upcoming events, especially at the four major speaker events throughout the year.

    For those of you who were impressed and enjoyed the catering at the recently concluded “I Love Design” event, please be sure to thank Florence Haridan, Executive Director of the organization. As past AIGA JAX president she knows the value of good eats at our events!

    As a matter of introduction, CC! in JAX is currently focused on creating a more ethical community here in Jacksonville by hosting dialogues for our business, non-profit and civic communities. The organization also provides character and ethics training, executive coaching and organizational development to foster that goal. They are design advocates and work to support brands based on values.

    They are currently working to launch a social enterprise that will create jobs for those returning to society from incarceration. The business model philosophy is based on the value of creativity as a healing process.
